No new skills at Lion's Arch - Guild Wars Forums

I was pretty disappointed when I got to LA and talked to the skills traininer. I was offered no new skills, while my gf got 6 or 7 new skills. Did I miss some prerequisit?

No, you must have goten them via skill quests earlier on.

Did you do a lot of the side quests that give skills as rewards while your gf didn't? My understanding is that the trainers will offer a certain 'list' of skills....if you don't already have them. Maybe you just got all the ones that trainer would have offered already by other means?

Interesting. Thanks for the info, I thought that the skills offered by the trainer were skills not able to be earned via side quests. Good to know the answer. Thanks again for the quick reply.

The skill trainers at the main cities offer you skills you could have gotten through quests previously (most of the time). The skill trainers in the outposts you come across offer new skills that you cannot get through quests.

Don't worry about it too much there are plenty of new skills for you to learn in this area.

I dunno.. I did EVERY quest from ascalon to La and still had new skills availible. for both my n/w and my e/mo

The skill trainer in Lions Arch only sells Capture Signets to my knowledge. If he sold a skill you already had, it would still show,but say you already had it
